These are documented as being carried by a few men and here is a nice holster witth some type of spatter but not distracting from the scarcity. Most wen down on ships or destroyed. The front cover in the seam you see is off, but the rest of the manual is ALL there and wonderful with a few notes and such on other papers inside. Also includes a rough translation of the index and the name of the sailor it belonged to. A excellent fully functional sight from WWII. Well marked MKI and not often seen in this excellent unissued condition. These were not popular due to the length making them hard to swing and stressful.

But in the purple box of issue. Medal does have oxidation to it but nice and with a error purple plastic heart as I have seen before, not chipped but warped i guess.
Name is period written in box and completely original. This one has a bit of wear as seen but a nice early variation for a Veterans grouping you may have and not named or numbered as these early ones are not. Not often seen and complete with 2 battle stars. Great for any 5th army collection or grouping. Excellent conditon with the wrapping tissue in the box. Nice condition and a harder set to find. Some bleeding to the ribbon colors but a wonderful medal from the City of Utica.
The top pin and hinge is there but it needs a hook repacement and the ribbon is a little worn as seen. Still at this price its a nice addition for a lower price.
